Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for direct and indirect spend categories to achieve cost savings and optimize supply chain performance.
- Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing agreements.
- Conduct thorough market research and spend analysis to identify new suppliers and innovative procurement solutions.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance evaluations, and contract compliance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams to understand requirements and align procurement objectives.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing roles, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proven track record of achieving significant cost reductions and improving supplier performance.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a solid understanding of legal terms and conditions.
- Excellent analytical abilities, including proficiency in spend analysis and data interpretation.
- Proficiency in using e-procurement platforms and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPS certification or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
