Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet business objectives and drive significant cost reductions across the organization.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting performance reviews and managing the vendor lifecycle effectively.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead high-stakes negotiations on terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to secure the best value for the company.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify new suppliers, emerging trends, and potential risks within the supply chain.
- Process Optimization: Streamline procurement workflows and implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce administrative overhead.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company policies and relevant legal regulations, while preparing detailed monthly reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable terms and manage complex vendor contracts.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional data analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and market data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to senior leadership.
