Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end sourcing process for raw materials and services, identifying cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.
- Vendor Relations: Manage and cultivate relationships with key suppliers, conducting performance reviews and negotiating contracts to ensure mutual growth.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to forecast price trends and advise management on inventory planning.
- Process Improvement: Streamline purchasing workflows and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, finance, and production teams to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis tools.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and driving favorable terms.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
