Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying market trends to negotiating contracts with top-tier suppliers.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with vendors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze spending patterns and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock scenarios.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and forecasting.
- Negotiation: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot supply chain disruptions and propose effective solutions.
