Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that align with business goals and cost targets.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors to ensure service excellence, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
- Cost Reduction: Lead negotiation campaigns and analyze market trends to drive significant cost savings and value-add opportunities across the supply chain.
- Contract Management: Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, ensuring terms are favorable, legally sound, and compliant with internal policies.
- Supply Chain Analysis: Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks effectively.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Process Optimization: Streamline procurement processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor relationship management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local and international trade regulations and compliance standards.
