You will lead a portfolio of complex categories, negotiate high-value contracts, and build resilient supply partnerships that support our ambitious growth objectives. This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional analytical skills, a strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record in strategic procurement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for key categories, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
- Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing, fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, spend analysis, and supplier performance reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams to understand material and service requirements, align procurement strategies, and support new product introductions.
- Manage and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and operational disruptions, ensuring continuity of supply.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, process optimization, and strategic contract management, exceeding annual savings targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements, promoting ethical sourcing practices.
- Mentor and develop junior procurement professionals, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proven expertise in negotiating high-value contracts and managing complex supplier relationships across diverse categories.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, C.P.M.) is highly desirable.
