Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to support business objectives and drive cost savings across multiple categories.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers, conducting performance reviews and negotiating contracts to ensure quality and reliability.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring legal compliance and favorable terms for the company.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and innovative materials that provide a competitive advantage.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of excellence, ethics, and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Streamline purchasing workflows and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics and regulatory compliance standards.
