Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies to reduce costs and mitigate risk.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with global suppliers to ensure favorable terms and service level agreements.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to provide actionable supply chain insights to the executive team.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Drive vendor performance management programs to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align procurement activities with broader company goals.
- Identify and implement sustainable and ethical sourcing initiatives throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Expertise in contract law, risk management, and supplier relationship management (SRM) software.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
