Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Manage end-to-end contract negotiations with major suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, quality, and service levels.
- Collaborate with internal department heads to align procurement activities with broader organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, pricing fluctuations, and potential alternative sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through robust KPI dashboards and regular business reviews.
- Drive continuous process improvement within the procure-to-pay cycle to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure full adherence to all regulatory requirements and ethical procurement standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Expert-level proficiency in contract law, negotiation tactics, and vendor relationship management.
- Proven track record of managing high-value spend categories and achieving significant cost savings.
- Advanced analytical skills with hands-on experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing complex projects in a global environment.
