Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives to maximize value and minimize risk.
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from identifying sourcing requirements to contract negotiation and vendor onboarding.
- Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Conduct rigorous market analysis and supplier research to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with key suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance and report on procurement metrics to executive leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and corporate social responsibility standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects and managing high-value vendor relationships.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
