Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with global suppliers to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Manage vendor performance through rigorous KPIs and quarterly business reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production and inventory requirements.
- Analyze market data and spend analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards and internal purchasing policies.
- Mentor junior procurement staff and support team professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spends.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and inventory management principles.
