Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for direct and indirect spend categories.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with global vendors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Legal departments to align procurement goals.
- Manage vendor performance metrics and conduct periodic business reviews.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices to reduce environmental footprint.
- Mentor junior procurement staff and oversee daily purchasing operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement or tactical purchasing roles.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and procurement software.
- Proven track record of cost savings and vendor relationship management.
- Expertise in contract law and regulatory compliance regarding international imports.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
