Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies to optimize global supply chains.
- Lead high-value contract negotiations with tier-one suppliers to ensure best-in-class pricing and terms.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to mitigate procurement risks and forecast future supply requirements.
- Foster strategic partnerships with key vendors, conducting regular performance audits and compliance reviews.
- Implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining rigorous quality standards and sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement activities with broader organizational objectives.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and streamline internal purchasing processes for improved efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP or Oracle) and advanced procurement analytics tools.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual procurement budgets.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Strong understanding of legal aspects of contracting and international procurement regulations.
