Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for key categories, from market analysis and supplier identification to contract negotiation and renewal.
- Cost Reduction: Implement cost-saving initiatives and leverage data analytics to optimize pricing structures and reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Vendor Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with suppliers, conducting performance reviews and driving continuous improvement.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and relevant industry regulations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior procurement staff and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Certifications: CPSM, CPM, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Ariba) and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
