Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with company goals, focusing on cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and negotiating favorable contract terms.
- Negotiation: Lead high-stakes negotiations with vendors to secure the best possible pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior procurement staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Logistics) to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
