Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Perform rigorous market analysis and benchmarking to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Manage the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) process for high-value capital expenditure projects.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices to support the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPSM certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a global organization.
- Proven track record of managing high-spend categories and achieving year-over-year cost reductions.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Coupa) and data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and financial statements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain logistics, trade compliance, and risk management strategies.
