Responsibilities
- Lead Process Design: Develop detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for upstream oil and gas facilities.
- Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from conceptual design through commissioning, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- HSE Compliance: Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols to minimize risk and ensure a zero-incident culture.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements to maximize throughput.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in separation, treating, and compression systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and construction engineers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas process engineering.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in process simulation software (HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and CAD tools (AutoCAD, PDMS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
