Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in project planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software
- Develop sustainable solutions integrating green infrastructure and climate resilience principles
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, contractors, and stakeholders during project execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license required (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated expertise in TxDOT and City of Austin permitting processes
- Strong project management skills with successful delivery of $10M+ projects
- Experience leading LEED-certified infrastructure projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting
