Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water resource systems
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analyses, and structural assessments using advanced modeling software
- Lead compliance reviews for federal, state, and municipal regulations (TCEQ, FHWA, etc.)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (contractors, government agencies)
- Develop innovative solutions for climate-resilient infrastructure using BIM and GIS technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) with 8+ years of progressive experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record leading complex infrastructure projects with budgets exceeding $5M
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ, FEMA, and ADA compliance standards
- Exceptional project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification preferred
