Responsibilities
- Lead Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed engineering phases for complex Oil & Gas processing facilities.
- Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Conduct process simulations and equipment sizing using industry-standard software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ProMax).
- Ensure strict adherence to API, ASME, and OSHA regulatory standards and Process Safety Management (PSM) principles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver capital projects on time and within budget.
- Perform technical risk assessments, HAZOP facilitation, and troubleshooting for existing plant operations.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by integrating energy-efficient technologies into traditional hydrocarbon processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of international codes and standards (API, ANSI, ASME, NFPA).
- Proven experience leading HAZOP/LOPA studies and implementing Process Safety Management (PSM).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
