Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize complex power distribution systems for large-scale industrial and high-tech commercial facilities.
  • Perform comprehensive load calculations, short-circuit analyses, and protective device coordination studies using ETAP or SKM.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of electrical projects, from initial conceptual design to final onsite commissioning.
  • Ensure all designs strictly adhere to NEC, NFPA 70E, and local building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of architects, mechanical engineers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Prepare high-fidelity technical specifications and construction documentation for global bid and implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in power systems design or a related electrical engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas or the ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months.
  • Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and advanced power analysis software suites.
  • Deep understanding of national electrical codes and safety standards (NEC, NFPA).
