Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive policy research and impact analysis for infrastructure projects
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for federal infrastructure programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders across municipal, provincial, and federal levels
- Prepare high-level briefing notes and policy proposals for cabinet consideration
- Monitor emerging trends in sustainable infrastructure and smart city technologies
- Manage stakeholder engagement with industry partners and community groups
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for multi-billion dollar infrastructure investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government/public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency in policy development frameworks and regulatory processes
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement strategies
- Strong understanding of Canadian federal-provincial-municipal governance structures
- Exceptional written communication skills with proven briefing note experience
- Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance
