Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations on fiscal, economic, and social issues
- Analyze complex data sets and conduct stakeholder consultations across government departments
- Lead cross-functional projects and present findings to senior decision-makers
- Draft cabinet-ready briefing notes and policy frameworks
- Monitor international policy trends and benchmark best practices
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate inter-departmental working groups
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis tools (SPSS, R)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Security clearance eligibility (Reliability Status)
- Experience with federal budget processes and legislative frameworks
- Knowledge of Indigenous policy reconciliation initiatives
