Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy frameworks for economic innovation and sustainable growth initiatives
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data to forecast trends and assess policy impacts
- Lead cross-departmental task forces to implement national economic strategies
- Prepare high-impact briefings for senior decision-makers and parliamentary committees
- Conduct stakeholder consultations with industry leaders, academia, and community groups
- Monitor international policy landscapes to identify best practices and emerging opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative analysis and economic modeling tools (e.g., STATA, R)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful policy initiatives
- Deep understanding of Canadian regulatory frameworks and parliamentary processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Valid Canadian security clearance (or ability to obtain)
