Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital transformation policies aligned with Smart City initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement across municipal departments and federal agencies
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for technology infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with PIPEDA, GDPR, and Canadian digital accessibility standards
- Oversee vendor management for cloud and cybersecurity solutions
- Prepare cabinet briefings and parliamentary documentation
- Mentor junior policy analysts in public sector digital governance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Digital Governance, or related field
- 7+ years in public sector technology policy development
- Certification in ITIL or COBIT framework
- Experience with municipal digital service delivery models
- Deep understanding of Canadian public procurement processes
- Expertise in cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance
