Responsibilities
- Lead cross-departmental policy development for $5B+ infrastructure investment programs
- Analyze socioeconomic data and regulatory frameworks to inform strategic policy recommendations
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations with municipal governments, industry partners, and Indigenous communities
- Develop implementation frameworks for national infrastructure standards and digital transformation initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate policy outcomes using KPIs and adjust strategies based on performance metrics
- Prepare Cabinet submissions and parliamentary briefings on infrastructure policy matters
- Mentor junior policy analysts and foster collaborative knowledge-sharing within the policy division
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field with 7+ years of government policy experience
- Proven track record in developing infrastructure policy frameworks at federal/provincial level
- Advanced proficiency in policy analysis tools including cost-benefit analysis and impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional written communication skills demonstrated through published policy papers or government reports
- Deep knowledge of Canada's infrastructure landscape including transportation, broadband, and green building standards
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder consultations and consensus-building processes
- Security clearance at Secret level or ability to obtain one
