Responsibilities
- Design and implement data-driven policy frameworks for municipal governance
- Lead cross-departmental task forces addressing urban challenges
- Conduct stakeholder consultations with community groups and industry partners
- Analyze legislative impacts and prepare cabinet-level briefing documents
- Manage policy implementation budgets exceeding $2M annually
- Present policy recommendations to city council committees
- Mentor junior policy analysts in government protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of municipal government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in policy analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and public consultation
- Knowledge of Canadian municipal governance frameworks
- Valid security clearance eligibility (Level II)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
