Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of preclinical drug development studies
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies for compound characterization
- Manage cross-functional project timelines and regulatory compliance (FDA/ICH guidelines)
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings at internal/external forums
- Collaborate with CMC, toxicology, and clinical teams to ensure seamless translation
- Author regulatory documentation and patent applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in HPLC, LC-MS, and spectroscopic characterization techniques
- Proven track record in GMP/GLP environments and regulatory submissions
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead complex initiatives
- Publishing record in peer-reviewed journals or patent portfolio
- Experience with biologics (antibodies, peptides) preferred
