Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex drug discovery experiments across multiple therapeutic areas
- Develop and optimize novel biochemical assays for high-throughput screening
- Analyze and interpret multi-omics data using advanced bioinformatics tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medicinal chemistry and preclinical development
- Author and review regulatory documentation for IND submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings at internal/external conferences
- Stay current with emerging technologies in pharmaceutical research
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in assay development and high-throughput screening methodologies
- Strong background in molecular biology techniques (CRISPR, qPCR, Western blotting)
- Experience with statistical analysis and bioinformatics tools (R, Python, KNIME)
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP practices and regulatory requirements
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications in pharmaceutical research
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary project teams
