Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models for unconventional assets using industry-standard tools (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Lead production optimization initiatives through data-driven well performance analysis
- Develop enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies for mature fields
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on integrated reservoir characterization
- Prepare technical deliverables for regulatory compliance and investor reporting
- Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-functional project teams
Qualifications
- BS in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation and production analysis software
- Demonstrated success in EOR project implementation
- Strong knowledge of Texas drilling/completion regulations
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with machine learning applications in reservoir modeling
