Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Conduct comprehensive well performance analysis and production optimization studies
- Lead field development planning for offshore deepwater projects
- Develop and manage enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies
- Prepare detailed reservoir management reports and economic evaluations
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-functional technical workshops
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience in offshore operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well testing, and production analysis
- Proficiency with Petrel, Eclipse, and PIPESIM software
- Demonstrated experience in deepwater Gulf of Mexico projects
- Strong understanding of EOR techniques and reservoir characterization
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
