Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including transportation networks, water systems, and sustainable urban developments
- Conduct advanced structural analysis and geotechnical evaluations using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, GIS)
- Manage project lifecycles from conceptualization through construction oversight, ensuring compliance with municipal codes and safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including environmental specialists and urban planners
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable drainage systems, flood mitigation, and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, cost estimates, and compliance reports for municipal approvals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license required (Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with emphasis on municipal infrastructure projects
- Expert proficiency in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS), transportation planning (TransCAD), and BIM technologies
- Proven track record leading projects exceeding $50M with successful delivery on time and within budget
- Deep knowledge of TCEP regulations, LEED certification standards, and sustainable infrastructure practices
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with experience in complex geotechnical and structural challenges
- Strong communication abilities with demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and public presentations
