Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize field development strategies
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in integrating geological, petrophysical, and engineering data for comprehensive reservoir characterization
- Develop and execute enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects using advanced chemical, thermal, and gas injection methods
- Conduct economic evaluations and risk assessments for drilling programs and capital expenditure projects
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on reservoir management best practices
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with emerging technologies in digital oilfield solutions and AI-driven reservoir analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, tNavigator)
- Proven track record of successful EOR project implementation and field development planning
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Experience working in international markets with diverse operational environments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
