Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical design and development of new products from concept to mass production.
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor) to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Conduct stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and thermal analysis to validate design integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, specifications, and test reports.
- Identify and resolve design bottlenecks and manufacturing challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience with prototyping and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
