As a key member of our Reservoir Engineering Division, you'll leverage advanced simulation tools and data analytics to optimize field development strategies. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance recovery factors, mitigate operational risks, and implement sustainable practices that align with our commitment to environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation models using industry-standard tools (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Conduct detailed well performance analysis and production optimization studies
- Lead field development planning for unconventional and conventional assets
- Develop and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and economic evaluations
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing across teams
- Collaborate with drilling and production teams to ensure operational alignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil and gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well testing analysis, and production forecasting
- Proficiency in reservoir modeling software (Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Strong understanding of EOR techniques and unconventional reservoirs
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Valid P.E. license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
