Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional assets using Eclipse and tNavigator software
- Lead production optimization strategies through data-driven analysis of well performance and reservoir characteristics
- Mentor junior engineers in reservoir engineering best practices and digital transformation methodologies
- Develop and maintain reservoir management plans aligned with capital allocation cycles
- Collaborate with data science team to integrate machine learning algorithms into reservoir forecasting workflows
- Present technical recommendations to executive stakeholders with clear ROI justification
- Ensure compliance with SPE standards and environmental regulations in all engineering deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional shale plays
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, tNavigator, CMG)
- Demonstrated success in optimizing horizontal well completions and hydraulic fracturing designs
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis and decline curve modeling
- Certified Petroleum Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and IoT integration
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
