Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using Petrel and Eclipse software
- Optimize production strategies through data analytics and machine learning applications
- Lead field development planning for unconventional assets in the Permian Basin
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct reservoir performance reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into field operations
- Develop cost-effective solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Proven track record in EOR implementation and production optimization
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with Permian Basin operations highly desirable
- Excellent project management and communication abilities
