Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Eclipse, Petrel)
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans and well optimization strategies
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and forecast recovery rates
- Collaborate with geoscientists on 3D seismic interpretation and structural modeling
- Ensure compliance with API, SPE, and environmental regulatory standards
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation in digital oilfield technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream experience in unconventional plays (shale gas/oil)
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well design, and production optimization
- Proficiency in software tools: Eclipse, Petrel, PIPESIM, and DecisionSpace
- Strong background in economic analysis and project evaluation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects
- Experience with AI/ML applications in reservoir engineering
