Responsibilities
- Lead complex reservoir simulation studies and geological modeling to optimize field development plans and enhance production rates.
- Oversee the design and execution of drilling and completion strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations across all operational activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding geoscientists and drilling engineersâto deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Analyze production data and well performance metrics to identify trends and implement enhanced recovery techniques.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and high-level presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on reservoir management best practices.
Qualifications
- Masterâs degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Bachelorâs degree with significant progressive experience is acceptable.
- P.E. License is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in upstream oil & gas operations, including offshore and onshore projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Schlumberger Petrel, Eclipse, or similar reservoir simulation tools.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic field conditions, including potential travel to remote sites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
