Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive reservoir simulation models to predict reservoir behavior and optimize production strategies.
- Lead the preparation of Field Development Plans (FDP) and reserve estimates for complex onshore and offshore assets.
- Analyze drilling, completion, and production data to identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and field optimization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, drilling engineers, and asset managers to ensure technical alignment.
- Conduct rigorous technical evaluations and risk assessments for new drilling locations and facility expansions.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas operations.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent registration is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
