Responsibilities
- Design and optimize hydraulic fracturing programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse)
- Analyze production data to identify enhanced recovery opportunities
- Develop well completion strategies maximizing recovery factors
- Prepare detailed technical reports for regulatory compliance and stakeholder presentations
- Mentor junior engineers through our structured development program
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on integrated reservoir models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation and well design software
- Strong analytical skills with production data interpretation experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated success in reducing drilling costs by 15%+
- Experience with horizontal drilling and multi-stage fracturing
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
