Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Develop reservoir simulation models to forecast production and recovery rates
- Analyze geological data to identify new drilling locations and field extensions
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in implementing enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Present project updates to stakeholders and senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production optimization
- Certified Petroleum Engineer (SPE) designation required
- Deep understanding of drilling completions and hydraulic fracturing
- Proven track record in cost reduction and production enhancement
- Ability to work in remote field locations when required
