Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize field development strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program execution and production enhancement initiatives
- Analyze well performance data using advanced software (PETREL, Nexus) to identify production bottlenecks
- Develop cost-effective hydraulic fracturing designs for shale gas and tight oil formations
- Prepare detailed technical reports and economic evaluations for new exploration opportunities
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining compliance with API and SPE standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (PETREL, Nexus, CMG)
- Strong background in hydraulic fracturing design and production optimization
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven project management experience with capital projects exceeding $50M
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
