Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced drilling/completion strategies for unconventional reservoirs
- Optimize production systems using reservoir simulation software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse)
- Lead digital transformation initiatives integrating AI/ML for predictive analytics
- Conduct economic evaluations and risk assessments for field development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software and production optimization tools
- Proven track record in digital transformation projects
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological data
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with MWD/LWD tools and hydraulic fracturing operations
