Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using Petrel and Eclipse software
- Lead field development optimization projects for unconventional shale plays
- Develop production enhancement strategies through hydraulic fracturing design
- Integrate IoT sensor data with machine learning for predictive maintenance
- Conduct economic analysis of development scenarios under volatile market conditions
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices in HSE-compliant operations
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream engineering experience in unconventional resources
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation and production analysis tools
- Proven track record in developing shale plays (Permian preferred)
- Familiarity with digital oilfield technologies and SCADA systems
- Strong project management skills with $50M+ project experience
- Excellent presentation abilities for technical and non-technical audiences
