Responsibilities
- Design and optimize well completion strategies for deepwater reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation modeling using PETREL and CMG software
- Conduct economic feasibility studies for new exploration projects
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with API and ISO 14001 standards
- Develop production forecasts and decline curve analysis
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on seismic interpretation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (PETREL/CMG)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deepwater Gulf of Mexico project experience
- Advanced knowledge of enhanced oil recovery techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
