Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize field development strategies
- Lead production enhancement initiatives through artificial lift systems and well intervention programs
- Conduct economic analysis of drilling/completion projects to maximize ROI
- Develop digital twin platforms for real-time production monitoring and predictive maintenance
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams on petroleum engineering best practices
- Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and environmental regulations across operations
- Collaborate with geoscientists on seismic interpretation and geological modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience with deepwater/shale projects
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, tNavigator)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong background in production optimization and well completion design
- Demonstrated experience with digital transformation initiatives in oilfield operations
- Excellent project management skills with PMP certification or equivalent
- Ability to work in remote field locations as required (10-15% travel)
