Responsibilities
- Design and optimize extraction strategies using reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, Petrel)
- Analyze well performance data to enhance production efficiency and recovery rates
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in field development planning and execution
- Develop economic models for drilling programs and enhanced recovery techniques
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental stewardship protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir characterization and wellbore design
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software and data analytics
- Strong project management with PMP certification
- Demonstrated success in reducing operational costs by 15%+
- Valid US work authorization and ability to travel internationally
