Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling/completion optimization and production enhancement
- Develop EOR strategies using cutting-edge techniques like CO₂ flooding and water injection
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend operational improvements
- Prepare detailed technical reports and economic evaluations for stakeholder presentations
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with HSE regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with reservoir simulation expertise
- Proficiency in industry software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in economic modeling
- Proven track record of leading field development projects
- Valid P.E. license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent communication skills for technical presentations
