Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Eclipse, PETREL)
- Optimize well performance and production strategies through data-driven analysis
- Lead feasibility studies for new drilling campaigns and field development plans
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical deliverables
- Ensure compliance with API standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop cost-effective solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate seismic and well data into reservoir models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience with reservoir engineering focus
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, PETREL, or equivalent)
- Strong background in production optimization and well design
- Proven track record of leading field development projects
- Valid PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
- Experience with horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing technologies
